Worked here after idle hour turned into rumrunners bar and grill for lisa and her husband Brian. NOW its a GREAT venue for LIVE LOCAL musicians!!! I LOVED when i walked in the FIRST poster i saw was a HUGE Jim Morrison photo...made me feel great! (there are actually 2 on the walls!!!) Last night I attended a benefit show for St Jude which had 14 different acoustic acts. My Friend Russ Rogers ( soundcloud.com/russrogers ) manned the event and performed! My buddy Steve Minotti(and his brother kenny was in the audience) performed ( reverbnation.com/stevemi… ) as well as my pal Larry Poccia ( paganraygun.com ) as well as Amy T Baxter(black janet herself!!) The place is FANTASTIC for local bands and the food is excellent and.....2 for 1 beers...I was having a blast...hated to leave it was that much fun!!! I will return for sure!!!

I come here often and usually do not have an issue. Tonight, I am not happy with our food or our service. The bartender messed both of our orders up. I ordered a bbq burger with sauce on the side and she forgot to ring that in the computer (blamed it on the chef) because it didn't show up on our receipt. Also, my wife ordered the 8 ounce steak and was charged for the 12 ounce. I assume she was given the 12 ounce but it's not what she ordered. The vegetables also had a single spaghetti noodle among them. We brought everything to her attention and she did not attempt to help in anyway.

Okay, not to be overly critical, but order your beer fast - takes 10 minutes per round. We had to order beer as they arrived to establish no drought periods. Good pretty good, typical sports bar food. Music a little stale.

I have to say the bar service is very poor!! AND it wasn't even crowded. Five people to be exact and you have to wait forever to get a refill! Two for one does come.with a price. Bartenders very friendly towards the locals but as a visitor. ..couldn't get even a smile. Food was okay. If you go in there you should order both drinks at the same time unless you are a local then you don't have to worry!!! Very mediocre! Never going back.

This review is based on the service more so vs. the taste of the food. Let's starts with the waitress training the person in training probably could use more training herself. Every drink except mine was incorrect. We had her repeat our order twice to assure receiving the proper food. I could keep going, but let me just finish that even the bill was incorrect. Food was mediocre at best. The owner did try to make things right by serving us free dessert which probably was the best food that night. Try Bru's room across the bridge before coming here.

Great atmosphere and great drink specials! All the servers and bar tenders are very friendly and know their drinks! The owner always says hi when we come through the door. The food is great and they always have daily specials! Definitely stop in!
If your looking for a quick bite and a quick drink to eat late night, then this spot is perfect. Indoor and outdoor seating, okay decor, and a DJ (Friday Night). The bartenders were extremely friendly and fast (Melissa was our bartender). Food was hot and delicious. 2 for 1s all day everyday, however, the price of one margarita is $9.00. $4.50 per margarita is a normal price for a margarita so it's not really a deal, lol. Will probably be back.

Maybe the worst bar experience I've ever had or seen in person. These girls are about as uneducated in bar tending as it gets. Not only did they have almost no knowledge of what they even carried on their own bar, but when I ordered a Guinness, one of the most popular beers in the world, they had no idea how to pour it and no idea that nitro beers pour differently. They kept pouring it and trying to dump out the "foam" and telling us they think something was wrong with that beer. Are you kidding me? After switching to a more normal beer they could handle pouring and my wife was drinking vodka soda, we came to a point where we needed the next round. I gave one of the girls our order and she heaved one of our empty glasses at the trash can and very rudely said "She has to order the drink for herself!" and walked off without getting either drink. WTF! The next bartender eventually came over and we cashed out. Needless to say, we will not be back and wouldn't recommend wasting your money here.

Went for a School of Rock event and had a nice time. 2/1 drinks including top shelf. Not bad. Ordered an app combo with chips, wings, chicken fingers and potato skins. Everything was tasty. The potato skins were topped with chicken, bbq sauce and cheddar cheese. So good!!! Music was right up my ally! Will definitely go back.

The food is ok but the service really sucks big time. Sorry I hate to be negative and I do give places a chance, however, have given them many chances. Need to get bartenders not just pretty ladies who have no clue about anything. I may be back only if Jerry plays there.

I'm sorry, I don't know how people can write half decent reviews about this place. first off. there's a reason it's for sale...and the owner 'G' jokingly asked customers if they wanted to take it off his hand. ANYWAY. I went in for a live music night which was a complete bust. 300 ppl was about 17, and there were no specials. the bartenders use jigars, didn't know how to ring anything in, and are clearly only there so the big man can flirt all night with them. as a restaurant manager I was offended at the obscene comments being made between the employers and staff to each other right in front of guest. the kissing and touching was really uncomfortable. BUT we stuck it out because the bartender said it would get busier, and even admitted the boss was 'dating' another bartender...the food: mediocre at best. cool names, clearly frozen to DEATH and took roughly an hour. I asked to send it back (nicely) and they told me i would still have to pay for them to make a frozen burger over again. when I finally convinced the bartender to ask the manager, they chuckled in a corner and came back with the SAME answer. really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but as a rest manager it was hard for me to stick it out for the girlfriend. bottom like, there are plenty other rock venue bars within 5-10 miles-go there. the unprofessional demeanor, the stripper poles, the misleading venue. listen to the other reviews regarding this restaurant as they tend to agree with me. stay away. if you look at other reviews I have written-I have never written a bad one until now, and am a frequent yelper-that bad.

Love this place!!!!! Great spot for juicy burgers and the drink specials are amazing! Tons of TVs and has lots of space to bring friends! The wait staff is so friendly and on top of their game! Didn't have to wait for anything and the waitress recommended the best drinks! I def recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and great drink specials with amazing wait staff and customer service.

Pros: Cheap and some of the best drink specials I've seen lately. Always friendly service, even though every time I've gone it's been a different girl behind the bar. Except the blonde girl who I think is the manager, but she is always super nice. They play some pretty good music too, it's nice to see a place that's not trying to be the next blue martini. Cons: The food. Cool idea with the menu, naming each dish after a rock band and prices are very good. But everything I've had has been... meh. Either over cooked or over sauced. Not enough vegetarian options either. I wish I could give five stars for the booze and service part, but I would give it only one star for their food... hmm..

Found this place super late night and it was the only place open. drinks were 2 for 1. The only food available was french fries and chicken strips. The service was friendly and price was OK.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!!!!!!!! I bartend in downtown Chicago and I was recommended to this place, so worth the visit!!!!! The food is so delicious, the drink specials are epic. TWO FOR ONE on EVERYTHING EVERY DAY!!!!!!! Grey goose, Ketel One, Crown Royal, Cabo Wabo, whaaaaaaaaaat??????? That's pretty amazing. This includes martinis and margaritas. Who doesn't love margaritas!?!??! Oh and the salmon is amazing, the fish is sooooo fresh. The burgers are big and juicy and the skirt steak is delic!!!!!! The cutest part about the whole place is that it's owned by a cute little family....a man and his fiancé.....Brianna...who happens to be the sweetest girl ever :) 1000% recommend this place.....oh....and badass tv selection....watch any game you want!!!!!
